Some friends of mine who went there told me they once ate a very nice place called Old Yerevan (on the Northern Av, I think) and they liked it a lot not only for the traditional dish they had but also because there was Armenian folk music; the decor was in traditional style, too. They didn't said anything about expensive or cheap; only that it was the best place to eat in town.
